Tip: Research shows that in India people are more 'polychronic' so they need multiple stimuli to function optimally. That's why at some firms disco-level loud music plays while people work. In contrast to 'monochronic' cultures, where multiple stimuli is seen as a disturbance and therefore background noise has a negative impact.
